I. Background of the Project: (200 words)
Plastic is considered as one of the pollutants in the land and even at the
ocean. It’s been a part of our lifestyle to use plastics for food preservation
and as major component of our appliances being used at home. There are
million tons of plastic waste that are produced annually in the Philippines
which makes the country the world’s third-largest producer of plastic waste.
So, there is a need to lessen the plastic waste in our country. One of the
effective ways to mitigate plastic pollution is recycling.
Surprisingly, we need to prove that even we are in the state of crisis
brought by the pandemic; we still need to be sustainable and eco-friendly
school in order to strengthen the objectives of the Department of Education
towards environmental conservation.
In connection, Malaguip Integrated School would like to initiate the MIS
PROTOTYPE MULTI-PURPOSE SHREDDER Project. This aims to design
and create a prototype that could recycle plastic wastes into valuable
products in order to create an avenue that could serve as an example to
students, teachers and the community to conserve our environment through
creativity.
Furthermore, it ensures the school to be sustainable and eco-friendly.
II. Objectives of the project: (depends on how many objectives you have)

Current environmental issues pose significant challenges and
opportunities in the present times. So, there is a need to protect and
conserve our mother Earth in order to maintain its beauty and resources.
