Senior Accountant: Supplying Store Co. (SONY Agency) Kuwait,
Oct. 1998 – Present .
Working as a Senior Accountant Responsible for:
• Overall supervision of accounts and finance function;
• Ensuring proper financial discipline – monitoring policies and procedure
implementation – Cash & Bank / payment & receipts / credit / HRP & P etc.;
• Ensuring appropriate internal control system to safeguard companies’
properties;
• Ensuring proper cash and fund management- arranging and utilizing fund to

date reconciliation of inter-company accounts;
• Ensuring proper inventory control - regular analysis of inventory balances,
controlling building up excess inventory, identifying and communicating the list
of slow-moving stock to Showroom manager for reducing loss of obsolescence;
• Calculation & adjustment of provisions for indemnity leave salary, bad &
doubtful debts, warranty and dead stock, depreciation, accruals etc. on
monthly basis;
• Preparing monthly payroll & bank transfer letter, reconciling employees
accounts, recording payroll, issuing pay slip etc.;
• Checking employees leave pay & ESB, maintaining leave records, liaison with
Group HRD etc.;
• Supervising PICS system – ensuring regular physical count of valuable stock
items of all location and reporting the shortage and excess to the management
to control pilferage, misplacement etc.;
