3. Birth of Nation
• The story of the independence of United States begin
in the 18th century. With an amazing foundation by
the pilgrims, America was ready to become an
completely independent nation.
4. First Continental Congress
• The first continental congress convened in
Philadelphia on September 5, 1774. All the colonies
except Georgia sent delegates. The congress
approved an association to stop all trade with
England. The pleas of the colonists were refused.
5. The War For Independence
• On April 19,1775 begun the war for
independence in Lexinton,Massachusetts.
Killing approximately 93 Americans and the
British lost 273 men.
6. Declaration of Independence
• On July 4,1776 the Continental Congress adopted the
declaration of independence. In 1781, the war for
independence was over, And in 1782 the parliament
vote to stop fighting and negotiate peace. Finally in
September,1783, America and British signed the
treaty of Paris. A New Nation has born.
7. A New Nation
• In March 1779, after all states had given their
approval, the Articles of Confederation, went
into effect . Finally A New Nation Was Born.
