1. The history of banking activity begins with the firs trade in the ancient world
banks that led to farmers and grain merchants transporting goods between
cities .This strarted in 2000 BC Assyria and Babylon .Later ,in ancient Greece
and the Roman Empire ,lenders operating in temples ,led and contibuted to
two innovations:accespt deposits and money chargers.
Banking in the modern sense of the word,originated in the Middle Ages and
early Renaissance Italy,the rich nothern cities like Florence,Venice and Genoa.
First coins were produced in the seventh century BC.Hr.,in Assyria
Minor,according to the brochure made by BNR at Euro Exhibition.This idea
spread quickly the ancient Greeks and later the Romans started producing
silver and bronze coins.
The coins have quickly become a reliable and efficient means of
exchange,wich contributed greatly to the development of trade in antiquity.
Subsequently ,there were paper money invented by the Chinese,and today
they continue to evolve as a continuous motion using the banking system.
