2. 2 Developed in Canada, this is a worldwide first in the successful application of Hyperspectral imaging in the mining sector “ This technology is every geologist’s dream” Paul Arscott, Former chief geologist, Wesdome Current Chief geologist Gammon Gold
3. 3 The CORE MAPPERTM This patented camera is contained in a mobile laboratory that can be rolled or air lifted into any location. One machine can shoot up to 1500 metres of core in a single shift…and the results are immediate.
4. 4 Nature of spectroscopic data We see a very narrow band of the light spectrum The Core MapperTMsees twice as much and takes a picture at every 2nm. This highlights the unique spectral signature of each mineral on the periodic table
5. 5 What the naked eye sees A top down view of 5 boxes of core from a depth of 395m through to 424m The core can be round, split, chip, fresh or weathered
7. 7 Linear results available anywhere This image is then sewn together lineally so that you can see the mineralogy of the entire vector. This data can be share around the world, allowing you to manage your drilling programs live and from anywhere. 396 399 397 398 7
8. 8 Tab formatEasy integration into your systems such as : Geotic, Gemcom, Datamine, etc. Immediately, the data captured is converted into a file easily integrated into your system. And we log all the mineralization for a complete geological history of your property. We have dislocated physical core mapping from drilling. Now your next drill hole location will be determined using the most current and complete data that has ever been available.
9. 9 Correlative analysis with main components As each exploration site is different, we correlate gold to all the minerals present, thus determining the best indicators for your property Hydrothermal chlorite / Gold Pyrite / Gold Talc-Magnetite / Gold Roscolitite / Gold
10. 10 Pushing the envelope Because we see alterations, we can see when you are close to your target. A hole that was visually determine to be dry was proven not to be, successfully extending the economic and sub-economic envelop of this deposit. Courtesy of Richmont Mines
11. 11 Projects and Financing We are currently servicing mines and junior exploration companies throughout northern Quebec and Ontario. Where fees are calculated on a ‘per metre’ basis. Mineral Vectors, our financing arm, works with companies to finance projects greater than 50,000 metres through Private Placements. A model of the Finance Partnership appears on the following slide.
