3. VIRUS TRANPORT MEDIA (VTM)
Using our high standard FBS, each lot of virus transport media (VTM) is manufactured under strict
guidelines as outlined by the CDC, is sterile, and undergoes quality control before release (CoA and ISO). It has
been assigned an FDA registration number.
VTM is available in both tubes, kits (include sterile swabs), or bulk quantities, allowing us to meet the needs of all types
of buyers.

Neuromics review summary
Sample Reviews:
Ravi D.on BirdEye★★★★★
We have ordered Brain derived Endothelial Cells or BECs.We could not find these in different companies,
particularly from multiple donors. Overall, we are happy with the products.
Olesya P.on BirdEye★★★★★
We bought a large order of FBS from Neuromics. Our experience with their customer service was great. They
offered us the best price and worked with us on any issue issues that came up on our side.
Jiehua Z.on BirdEye★★★★★
We ordered the cells, medium and related culture product. Fast ordering and delivery procedure, and nice
technique support. The cells grew well as described and we can easily expand them.

8. HUMAN BBB MODEL TEST APPLICATIONS
• Toxicology Assays
Permeability Studies -Compounds, Oligos and Small Molecules :
General Procedure
3D Blood Brain Barrier models are thawed and cultured for 4 days to establish viable barrier as
measured by transendothelial electrical resistance (> 150 Ω x cm2).
The test compound and fluorescent probe are added and the cultures are returned to incubate for
designated times.
If assessment of alterations to BBB permeability due to drug treatment is required, fluorescent
dextran conjugate is added to wells
Media is sampled for quantitation of test articles by UPLC, and for quantification of fluorecent
probe by plate reader
Apparent permeability is calculated
Bottom Figure:Alterations in apparent permeability of blood brain barrier due to drug
treatment. Data presented as mean ± SEM x 10-6 cm/s. * Indicates p<0.05 for Fisher’s
LSD t-test comparisons to DMSO controls in a post hoc analysis following two-way
ANOVA. Data Curtsey ofVisokol
