Dear Michael,
We are preparing a briefing on Agriculture activities in the Loddon Campaspe region to
Ministers attending the Regional Partnership meeting on the 19 October.
The briefing is intend to be a succinct summary of the profile of Ag activities and their
contribution to economic activity; issues and to provide an overview of state investment
relative to ag.
I am seeking you're input into the briefing, in particular in relation to the following:
- dairy impacts for the region
- issues relating to intensification and the development of the Agribusiness facilitation model
- issues for wineries and initiatives related to that industry e.g. growth fund and ministerial
advisory committee
- issues in regards to land-use and urban encroachment
