1. I live in Moscow region in Kashira.
I would like to devote my
presentation to my friend and
classmate Rodionova Polina. Every
sportsman choose his kind of
sport and Polina while being a
little girl made up her mind to
learn to play chess.

2. So she began playing this
ancient game at the age of
6, in the kindergarden.
When she was 8 she became
the Moscow region
champion among junior
children. Later Polina could
confirm her title three times.

3. In 2011 my classmate,
being 14 years old, won the
Cup of Russia and got
opportunity to take part at
the world championship.

4. In 2012 in Slovenia Polina Rodionova became the
silver winner at the chess world championship!

5. According to Polina’s words, she could achieve such a
success thanks to her coach Konotop Sergey
Valentinovich who has been training her for 9 years.
Besides my classmate is very industrious. She trains
hard, spending more then 6 hours daily over the
chessboard.

6. Now Polina Rodionova is the
woman FIDE master. She was
the second one at the all Russia
chess championship. Nowadays
the girl is planning to go to the
world tournament. I wish she
became a winner too.

7. I am happy that she is my classmate, as in spite of her
great success in chess playing Polina remain a modest,
kind, responsible girl and a true friend.
