Regal Completes Acquisition of Emerson’s Power Transmission Solutions Business

The Regal acquisition of Emerson Power Transmission Solutions (PTS) was closed on January 30, 2015. Our
combined PTS Business and Regal Mechanical Business now includes the following world class power
transmission brands:

This combination of power transmission solutions will be a great complement to Regal’s current portfolio of
electric motor, generator and variable speed drive products.
While we look forward to exploring the many growth and market opportunities this acquisition creates, we are
not announcing any change to procedures at this time. For current customers of both PTS and Regal
Mechanical division, it is business as usual with no changes to transactional activity.
Over the coming weeks, we will communicate any changes to Purchasing processes that will transition from
Emerson to Regal, but for now please continue to place orders, interact with sales personnel, remit to the same
lock box and generally communicate in the same manner as you have for many years.
This acquisition brings many opportunities to provide our customers and channel partners; a greater range of
product and system solutions, improved transactional efficiencies, and growth.
As we integrate PTS into the Regal family, we want you to know that, like PTS, Regal has a continuous
