Italian pupils visited the canteen IL PANE QUOTIDIANO

1. We went to visit the canteen “Il pane quotidiano”, a service
for poor people and migrants , managed by Caritas Biella

2. We understood that in Biella there are many volunteers who
help people in need. Every day the canteen gives food to 80
people .
There are different spaces in the building . In one of them there
is a school for refugees. That day there were some migrants that
were learning Italian. One of them was Quasim the boy who
came to our school in March. It was a pleasure to see him again!

3. We played a « Memory game» using significant words
and images … We learned a lot about of the role of the
Caritas and at the same time we had fun.

4. TIME: The most important thing that a person
can offer is his time. The time hasn’t price ,
but it is possible to share with people that we
love . Offering the means elevating ourselves.

6. FAMILY : It is one of the most beautiful things that
we can have. Family should give people love and
happiness. The two things that everyone looks for in

where you put all your memory. It

LONELINESS: : Being alone
means to not have any
friends , to not have a
helping hand when you are
in need. Loneliness means it
isn't possible to receive a big
hug when you are

7. House : It is a secure port
where you can return to

NET is the symbol of the
association IL PANE QUOTIDIANO
that helps in the canteen. The net
usually helps tightrope walkers
during their performance because
if they fall down ,the net saves
them. The net it is the good
relationship with different people.
