The Pink Isn't Always Pretty Foundation (P.I.A.P.) was created in 2009 in memory of Kimberly Renee Thomas who lost her battle with triple negative breast cancer. P.I.A.P. recognizes how breast cancer uniquely affects women of color and aims to raise awareness of these issues and promote wellness, early education, support, expression, and quality of life for those affected. On October 10th, P.I.A.P. will host its 2nd Annual Pink Party event to further its mission and welcomes donations from individual and corporate sponsors to support the cause.
