• Practical = 60% (4 activities)

Exam = 1 hour - 60 marks, 15 are multiple choice!!!
• Practical Performances & Developing
Fitness.
Controlled Assessment = 60 marks
(Two PE Lessons Per Week – One Theory/One Practical)

11. Year 11
• Developing Knowledge in Physical

15. Duke of Edinburgh / GCSE PE
Activity Weekend
As part of the expedition training, an activity weekend is run for all
students involved in the award scheme. It is also open to GCSE PE
students as part of their Outdoor Education module.
The weekend takes place in
September, and places are limited.

letter for the award scheme or
available from Miss Clatworthy.
