who measured 251
cm in Ankara,
Turkey, on 08

3. THE TALLEST WOMAN
• Yao Defen of China–
was the tallest living
woman, as recognized
by Guinness World
Records.She stood at
234 centimetres (7 ft 8
in) tall, weighed 144
kilograms (317 lb), and
had size 23 (US) feet.
Her gigantism was due
to a tumor in
her pituitary gland.

• The shortest living
man is Khagendra
Thapa Magar
(Nepal, b. 14
October 1992),
who measures
67.08 cm (2 ft
2.41 in) tall as
verified at Fewa
City Hospital in
Pokhara, Nepal,
on 14 October
2010.

5. THE SHORTEST WOMAN
• An Indian woman is
celebrating her 18th
birthday by winning the
title of world's shortest
woman. Guinness World
Records representatives
measured Jyoti Amge at
24.7 inches (62.8
centimetres) tall, making
her 2.76 inches (seven
centimetres) shorter than
Bridgette Jordan, the 22-
year-old American who had
held the title since
September.

6. THE FATTEST MAN
• The heaviest person in medical history
was Jon Brower Minnoch (USA)(1941–
83), who had suffered from obesity
since childhood. He was 185 cm (6 ft 1
in) tall and weighed 178 kg (392 lb or 28
st) in 1963, 317 kg (700 lb or 50 st) in
1966 and 442 kg (975 lb or 69 st 9 lb) in
September 1976. In March 1978,
Minnoch was admitted to University
Hospital, Seattle, where consultant
endocrinologist Dr Robert Schwartz
calculated that Minnoch must have
weighed more than 635 kg (1,400 lb or
100 st), a great deal of which was water
accumulation due to his congestive
heart failure.

weighed 293.6 kg
(643 lbs), when
measured in
Sacramento,
California, USA, in
July 2012

Memorial Prize in 2002.
• He is also the youngest professor

Mathematician working in
harmonic analysis, partial
differential equations, additive
combinatory, random matrix
theory, and analytic number
theory.
• He carries an Intelligence
quotient level of 230.

• Ayanna Williams of Houston,
Texas, has nails
measuring 576.4 cm (18-feet
and 10.9-inches). The 60-
year-old has been growing
her fingernails for about 23
years. She says it takes up to
a week to paint her nails
and it's especially difficult to
pull up her pants.

• The world's longest
documented hair
belongs to Xie
Qiuping (China) at
5.627 m (18 ft 5.54
in) when measured
on 8 May 2004.

at 118.33 cm (3 ft 10.59 in) long.
He is owned by Kelsey Gill (UK)
and was measured on 6 October
2015.
• The attempt was filmed for ITV
documentary 'The Story of Cats'
by Plimsoll Productions
• Three measurements were taken
by the vet and the record is
calculated as the average. The
measurements were 120 cm, 120
cm + 115 cm.

• Custom car maker Austin
Coulson is the owner of
the smallest roadworthy
car, meaning he can legally
take his mini-machine out
on the road.
• Coulson's car measures 25
inches (63.5 cm) high; 2
feet, 1.75 inches (65.41
cm) wide; and 4 feet, 1.75
inches (126.47 cm) long,
and can be spotted by its
Texas vanity license plates
reading "IM BIG.“

Hennessey Venom F5 was
unveiled at the SEMA Show in
Las Vegas, Nevada, on
November 1, 2017, with high
expectations of its intended
world-beating speed record.
Using its project 2.0 second 0–
60 mph (0–97 km/h)
acceleration and projected 301
mph (484 km/h) top speed,
Hennessey’s Venom F5 aims to
eliminate the Bugatti Chiron on
all acceleration and speed
factors.
