Philosophy has always been one of the more philanthropic companies out there. They have
sponsored a handful of charities in the past, and are now teaming up with Cookies for Kids Cancer,
an organization that raises money and awareness for pediatric cancer research. From now through
October 15, Philosophy is donating 100% of all sales of their Oatmeal Raisin shampoo, shower gel
and bubble bath 3-in-1 to Cookies for Kids Cancer. Not 10% or 20%, but 100%. Personally, I really
respect that they're donating all of their proceeds rather than a small percentage like many
companies do. I think this really shows their dedication to the cause.
Nail put it best, though: "This is not your granddaddy's country music!," he said at the start of his
set. Nope, old Granddad would never have covered Rick Derringer's 1974 hit "Rock And Roll,
Hoochie Koo," as did Lambert. He would have run screaming from Church and would barely
recognize the two-man, one-woman format of Lady A.
Over the course of two days, 24 men's rugby teams from the eastern United States will converge on

Terry's run gathered huge crowds. At Thunder Bay, Ontario, 143 days and 3,339 miles later, Terry
was forced to throw in the towel. His breathing was too labored to continue. X-rays revealed both
lungs riddled with metastatic tumors. A telethon was immediately organized in the hope of raising
the funds Terry desired. Lee Majors described him as "the real Six Million Dollar Man" at the event.
He died on June 28, 1981 but his dream lives on. To date, over $360 million has been raised in his
