Dear Madam, Sir,
Mr. Pawar has performed his Master thesis work at the LHEEA Lab, from February to August
2016, under my supervision. The work that he has performed concerns the creation and
evaluation of a software module to compute the dynamic equilibrium position of a lifting
hydrofoil, during the course of a numerical simulation. The module is adapted for use with the
ISIS-CFD Navier-Stokes solver which the laboratory develops.
During this period Mr. Pawar has shown that he is a very serious and trustworthy
collaborator. He has worked on his project with great enthusiasm and produced some
interesting results, which are of much use for our future research. Finally, he possesses good
oral and verbal communication skills and has rapidly found his place in our group.
