Enterprise Risk Management

For an enterprise risk management of health centre, the
concepts for the enterprise risk management are the hospital
itself, what they offer from medical attention of regular diseases
and emergencies as well as a checkup of regular diseases. They
the enterprise risk management should focus on how the health
centre assures the quality of their service by the use of skilled
staffs who conduct laboratory experiment when necessary to
ascertain the actual diseases. These services are done at price
consideration, or the clients can attack assets which can be used
to settle the bill, which should be equivalent to the price
consideration.
These concepts relate to each other because enterprise risk
management is all about proper control of finances thus for a
health centre they, the concept in which they undergo
transaction is through the treatment of clients which should be
managed effectively and closely monitored to avoid losses.
According to the kind of medication given to the client, there
should be the amount that the client should pay for the financial
stability of the health centre.
The relationship between the concepts in the concept map and
the idea to be discussed in the paper is how a hospital goes
through until it can reach a point where it can demand
payments. The paper is on finances management; thus, the need
to show how financial transactions in a hospital are reached t
point of declaring the.
The concepts in the concepts maps are connected by the use of
verbs as well as conjunctions accordingly to connect one each
concept with the other.

relates to your grade, or
something of a personal nature, please use email to
communicate with your designated
instructor.
Please expect a response on either the discussion board or via
email wthin 24 hours. I
check the site and my email frequently and may get back to you

I also have in-person office hours listed above. Please come! I
encourage you to make full
use of my office hours. Office hours are intended to help you
with any questions you may
have after lectures, reviewing materials, and attempting
assignments. I am also available

What You Should Know About Hybrid Classes
Canvas will be used to distribute course materials, complete
course requirements, and
communicate. I will send out frequent announcements through
Canvas. Please ensure your
Canvas message receipt preferences are set to “immediately.”
The material in the hybrid BA308 class is the same as that in
the fully face-to-face classes,
with the only exception that in-class discussions and
presentations will be occurring online.
Quizzes, exams, and individual assignments are extremely
similar in format and difficulty.
Hybrid classes require more discipline by students than regular
classes given the necessity of
mastering the material primarily from the readings and related
sources (both offline and
online). To succeed in a hybrid course, you must be extremely
motivated and well
organized.

Class Format
This course is akin to a corporate leadership workshop. We will
practice applying new
leadership behaviors using simulations and activities which will
require you to step outside of
your comfort zone. The emphasis is on skill-based learning,
feedback, interaction and class
participation. Accordingly, attendance and motivation to learn
are critical for meeting
course objectives. Do not expect a traditional lecture class.
This course will require you to do more than show-up, but be
present, challenge yourself,
expand your comfort zone and work to change (challenge,
expand, deepen) your
understanding of leadership AND your leadership behavior.
Accordingly, attendance and motivation to learn are critical for
meeting course objectives.
I will present content and ultimately your learning is contingent
upon your engagement with
the concepts, putting them into action and learning from
instructor and peer feedback.
You must attend each class, arrive on time, be prepared for
discussions by having
completed the day’s assignment ahead of time, and actively
participate in class and small
group discussions. In addition, we will all work to establish the
climate of trust and mutual
respect essential for a true learning community, adhering at all
times to the LCB Code of
Professional Business Conduct .
How This Course Works
This course is designed to be different. It weaves business
writing skills, leadership
development and business problem solving skills into a fast-
paced, interactive experience
that will challenge you.
You will work on individual and group assignments on this
course. You will have individual
writing assignments on that focus on your personal leadership
development and persuasive
writing skills as you reflect on personal experience and
leadership behaviors.
Your group assignments will focus on finding a problem,
analyzing the situation and
developing a solution that aims to solve that problem. As a team
you will present your
findings to the class during Week 5 and Week 10. You will also
apply your business writing
skills to create a written proposal reflecting your findings and
solutions.
While you will have time to work on these projects in class, we
will also spending time
developing leadership skills and team behaviors through
activities, scenarios and reflection
on individual and team performance. These are designed to be
engaging, inclusive and
based on research of team development. The objective is to
assist your team in developing
strategies to perform well on your group assignments.
Professionalism
The Lundquist College of Business is interested not only in
increasing your technical expertise
in business. We want to help you become professionals.
Think of “professionalism” as a collection of behaviors that
your boss would expect from you
in a job. In any job, positive attitude, respect for others,
initiative, and responsibility are vital.
This course will have the same expectations.
You will be graded on attendance, prompt arrival, active
participation in class and in virtual
activiities, and professional conduct in the course, including
your body language in class
and your electronic communications. You will submit a self-
assessment (please see Week 1
Module in Canvas) at the end of the term, and I will adjust
points up or down based on
peer comments and my own observations.
If you are ever unclear as to what would be the professional
thing to do in a given situation,
please ask. Saying “I didn’t know that was unprofessional” is
not a valid excuse.
Preparation
You will need to spend enough time with assigned readings in
order to add value to in-class
and online discussions. I expect you to arrive at class prepared
to deeply reflect on
assigned readings. For example, I expect you to be able to draw
connections between
course concepts and assigned readings and to connect readings
to your personal
experiences. When homework includes surveys or
questionnaires, I expect you to come to
class with the questionnaires completely filled out and scored.
Important Dates: Mandatory Attendance
All face-to-face classes are mandatory. There will be no
excused absences during the
following mandatory classes: Friday Week 1; Friday Week 2;
Friday Week 5; Friday Week 6;
Friday Week 10. If you cannot attend all of these mandatory
class periods, you must take
an alternate section of this course.
Attendance
You are expected to be on time and attend every class.
Tardiness will result in point
deductions from your professionalism grade: 5 points for any
late arrival.
Class Cancellation
In the event that class will be canceled, at least 1 hour prior to
the beginning of class, I will
post an announcement on Canvas and send an e-mail to all
enrolled Canvas users
Illness Policy

Unless specified, all deliverables will be due at the start of

based on peer comments
and my own observations as well as to grant additional
individual points, beyond those
given for professionalism, to students whose participation
influenced the class is especially
positive ways or who went “above and beyond” in their pursuit
of course objectives.
How Your Grade Will Be Determined
The Lundquist College of Business has adopted grading
standards to ensure consistent
student evaluations. The average GPA for class should fall
within a range of 2.6-3.2. Some of
you may be encountering these grading standards for the first
time. Remember that
everyone in this class has met the rigorous GPA requirements to
be admitted as a business
major, and therefore getting an A in business major courses
could be much more difficult
than in previous classes. As in the professional business world,
receiving a top rating (A)
requires exceptionally and consistently high performance.
There are 825 points possible in this course. Course
deliverables and their approximate
contribution to final course grades are:

Per the Registrar: “An incomplete may be issued when the
quality of work is satisfactory, but
some minor yet essential requirement has not been completed,
for reasons acceptable to
the instructor. Faculty and students should develop a contract
outlining the requirements
and specific deadlines for making up the incomplete. Contracts
should be filed in the
departmental office through which the course is taught.”

My dream job is to be a business operations analyst. For the
purposes of ensuring that the dream job enables me to achieve
my goals and objectives within the stipulated time, I will make
use of different behaviors which will enable me to carry out
different activities accordingly. For me to become successful in
the business operations analyst position, some leadership
behaviors such as clear communication is important.
On the other hand, leadership behaviors such as clear
communication and innovative are required for me to develop
the skills which are necessary to be successful in my dream job.
As far as the clear communication is concerned, it will play
important roles in ensuring that I am able to share ideas with
the other employees hence enabling me to acquire new ideas. To
improve both the communication and innovative behaviors will
ensure that I engage the other employees in an effective manner.
This will play important roles in enabling me to acquire some
skills which are important in my dream job. Some of the actions
I will take to improve my behaviors are stretching myself past
my limits and always acting with a purpose.
As far as I stretching myself past my limits is concerned, this
action is clear and simple and it hence made to ensure that I
realize the manner in which I should communicate with the
other employees. However, there is a clear way of measuring
the completion of action and success. This will ensure that the
goal is accomplished by ensuring that I acquire new skills from
the other employees.

  • 17. Professionalism The Lundquist College of Business is interested not only in increasing your technical expertise in business. We want to help you become professionals. Think of “professionalism” as a collection of behaviors that your boss would expect from you in a job. In any job, positive attitude, respect for others, initiative, and responsibility are vital. This course will have the same expectations. You will be graded on attendance, prompt arrival, active participation in class and in virtual activiities, and professional conduct in the course, including your body language in class and your electronic communications. You will submit a self- assessment (please see Week 1 Module in Canvas) at the end of the term, and I will adjust points up or down based on peer comments and my own observations. If you are ever unclear as to what would be the professional thing to do in a given situation, please ask. Saying “I didn’t know that was unprofessional” is not a valid excuse. Preparation
