3. Objectives Main objective for the RAI to implement the passportphoto application is:The have an efficient process to collect and renew a passportphoto of the employees, suppliers, participants and visitors of the RAI Exhibition centre, which is used for the creation of the personal access badge. The project started for 2.500+ employees and suppliers. At the end of 2010 the participants will have to use the application. In 2011 the application will be used for visitors of the exhibitions. At the end of 2010 will be examined if it is desirable to create the whole badge printfile by the passportphoto application. The file will be a ready to printfile for the badgeprinters used by the RAI.
16. Implementation De passport application (PAP) has been changed in the corporate style of the RAI. The PAP is ready to use for different languages. The checklist can be altered or left out. The PAP is running on a secure webserver of Photo4id and the RAI Portal is using several secured webservices to obtain and manage the passportphoto per user. Security by use of : https, firewalls, IP filters and the use of temporary hash-keys (64-bit). The passportphoto and personal data are deleted on the server of Photo4id after a succesfull creation of the passportphoto within the RAI Portal. All the photos and personal data on the Photo4id server are automatically deleted once a day. The implementation started mid May 2010 and within two weeks the RAI was using the PAP within the RAI Portal.

Technical architecture Portal RAI Photo4id 1: Webservice callwith a specificurl (https://rai.photo4id.com) toget the temporaryhaskey. 2: Webservice callwith the hashkey and parameters tocreate the passportphoto. 3: Back to the RAI portal basedon the return-url parameter. The user willreceive the passportphoto per E-mail 4: Webservice callwithhashkey and parameters toobtain the passportphoto and store it in the RAI Portal 5: Webservice callwithhashkey and parameters to delete the basicphoto, the passportphoto and personal data in the Photo54id database.
