2. Regularinspectthe anode
A. Checkthe anode afterrunningevery50 hours(or three months).Use the multimetertocheck
whetherthe anode have the goodelectroconductibility,ensure the anode have the goodconduction
withrelevantpartsandconnectingwires.
B. Cleaninganode.The anode surface wouldproducesome new chemical compoundproducedby
chemical reactionandattachedwiththe aquaticin the water.These factorswill cause the anode not
continuingwork.Itwill cause seriousconsequencesif the anode couldnotbe cleanedtimely.Youshould
remove andcleanthe anode by the fine sandpaperthenre-mountsthe anode onthe outboards.( we
recommendthe customeruse the newkind“PS09-1”anode to replace the oldanode,thiswaywill

C. Change anode.Itmustchange the anode whenthe anode excessive corrosion.Normally,we suggest
the customerchange the anode for everyone yearor one yearand a half.To avoidthe painting,
greasing,oil attachedonthe anode whenmounting.Toensure ithave the correctphysical andelectric
connectionaftermountthe anode.
Overall,anti-corrosionmaintainisanimportantworkforoutboards.Aslongas we maintainthe
