GLENDORA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 15, 2003--MERit Credit Engine enables XML credit
reports for human resource applications, using the HR-XML Consortium's Version 2.0 for
background checks.
The MERit Credit Engine (MCE) shortens development time
http://www.landlordstation.com/tenant-screening/ and satisfies a mission-critical need for companies
developing systems that require credit report data directly from Experian, Equifax, and/or Trans
Union. It operates using a SQL Server database, and allows implementers to retain control of their
entire system, without added per-transaction costs.
The MCE requests raw data from the credit reporting agencies, parses it to a standard format, and
inserts the report into the local SQL database for analysis and integration. The XML capabilities take
the standardization to the next level, allowing the data to be shared by participants in HR
transactions. The MCE is able to access the credit bureaus via the Internet, data circuits, or dial-up,
and can deliver thousands of reports per hour.
The MERit Credit Engine is also able who does tenant searches to generate three-bureau merged
XML reports in the mortgage industry's MISMO open standard for XML credit reports
(www.mismo.org).
MERit Credit http://www.resolve-partners.com/services/show-resident-screening Systems, Inc.
(www.creditengine.net) is a leading provider of server-based credit report retrieval software for
businesses requiring quick and effective data access to credit information from Equifax, Experian,
and Trans Union.
The HR-XML Consortium (www.hr-xml.org) is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to
the development and promotion of a standard suite of XML specifications to enable e-business and
the automation of human resources-related data exchanges.
By developing and publishing open data exchange standards based on Extensible Markup Language
2. ("XML"), the Consortium provides the means for any company to transact with other companies
without having to establish, engineer, and implement many separate interchange mechanisms.
