CHAPTER FIVE
Stunned and a little shaken, Alex sat in the car. She could not believe what Troy had just
said. Shifter stalker watching her from the castle and followed her to her house
She watched Luc rounded side yard and disappeared behind the house. A few anxious
minutes followed as she and Troy waited for him to reappear. For Alex, it seemed like hours
before Luc returned to the car, and its tense and edgy look of Alex kept fully relax when it
did. Approaching Troy, Luc nodded mysteriously at his twin. They shared a look that Alex
was pretty sure meant that speaks mentally.
Alex saw at the time that Troy visage changed. He seemed to be more volatile twin. He
looked rather bleak and it seemed to be almost on the verge of violence. He clenched his
fists at his sides and was getting hairier the second.
"Alex." Rance's voice in my head suddenly startled her from her yelp in surprise. "What
is?" she said aloud.
The twins looked questioningly at Alex. She shook her head at them and concentrated on
the Rance mental summons. " Yeah, I'm here," she replied, "why I can achieve now?
Thought I closed our legacy."
"Little one, you damn opened a few minutes ago. I think it was around the time when the
twins were told to stay in the car," Rance said. " Please keep it open," he said. "I want to
make sure you were okay."
"Have you talked with the twins? Of course, I'm fine. Could I be more protected by one
hairy twin holds the door closed and the other prowling around my garden," Alex replied
sarcastically. "No, I'm not grateful, mind you. want to be in the picture. these two
watchdogs have assigned to me, are purposely near the lip of the situation." She eyed
twins when they moved away from his car and held a quiet discussion.
She strained her ears, trying to eavesdrop on their conversation. She heard only excerpts
from it. ".... Bordel ... broke ... news ... angry," Luc growled.
"I want you to come and stay with me in the lock. know that you need more time. But Alex,
I could not help it anymore," Rance tried to explain. "I want to protect you ... No, you have
to protect," fervently exclaimed. "Please, let the twins will escort you back. you are in
serious danger if you remain there."
"Grave danger? Someone wants to kill me? did not do anything for anyone that would
guarantee that reaction." She frowned in bewilderment. The feeling that everything in her
life is suddenly out of her control. She knew that this invasion of her house happened

2. because she was now mated Rance. She did not even understand why it was created, but
she was sure that she was targeted because of something you did, but because of who he
was now in Rance life.
"I'm sorry, little one. anyone but a fool is focused on you. According to Luc, the message is
left in your home is a particularly sinister ," he said calmly as he could Rance. She knew he
was trying to sound unconcerned for his own benefit. Probably did not want to alarm her
further, but Rance could not fully hide the intense fear that was leaking, unbeknownst to

"What kind of message does that leave ass in my house?" Asked Alex loud to be heard by
the twins. She was really angry. Packaging had no right to keep her in the dark. It was her
house, her property. She worked her butt that could put a deposit on this little house. It
was not much, but it was her. She did not want anyone to violate their private sanctuary.
No one, man or shift, could get away with messing with what was hers; nor would it stand
around while others deal with the problem. She should not be kept in the dark. Rance told
to be quiet while she dealt with twins.
Shove the car door open as she approached Luc and Troy determination. Her face was
scrunched in an aggressive look that spelled trouble for two shift warily their Regina .
"Tell me what you did wrong shifter did in my house," she said Luc challenging. "If you do
not tell me now, I go there and see for myself. I do not care if he's stronger than me.
Nobody violates your personal space without retribution.'m Telling you now that I will
recover regardless of how long it will take , no matter what, "she said sharply.
Both Luc and Troy are taken aback by her vehemence. They were very impressed at their
Regina is show mood. She was a really good friend of alfa. Her wildness serve her well,
reigning at the ranch.
S repentant smile on his face, Luc shallow bowed his head in reverence to Alex. "Forgive us
Reg - ... Uh-Alex, we traveled we were just conferring on how to proceed with this situation

"Well then, so spill., What happened in my house, I want to go inside and see for yourself

smiled at me .... now they are completely laugh!"
What Alex did not know that Rance, Damian, and the twins were all communicate mentally.
The twins started laughing when the Rance proudly extolled Alex's wildness, Damian Rance
recalled that his friend to kick him in the balls when she was angry, too.

3. "My sweet Alex ," Rance crooned soothingly. "They're laughing because of you. Allow me
to deal with them . ' Rance deliberately kept the connection open to his mate to be able to
listen to the mental link he had with the beta version. She would not be able to keep more
link as a speaker, not only the audience, and eventually moved.
"Enough. facing a serious invasion of privacy and the security of my friend. Luc and Troy, I
want you to make every effort to ferret out the perpetrator. Once you've brought your
Regina here at the castle, I want you both to further investigate this incursion into their
house. "
"Yes Alpha." How Luc and Troy replied, trying to keep their revelry.
Alex had heard enough. She turned her back on them and walked quickly to her door.

what awaited her inside. See the desecration of their living room, Alex was seated at the
entrance to her house. Her unbelieving eyes at the destruction inside. She felt the blood
leave my face and knew she was pale as a ghost.
The buzz echoed in her head and her vision became blurred. Dazed, she took a few steps
inside, and then suddenly stopped. He looked down and saw her red shoes worn something
that was splashed across her living room carpet ... and the walls ... and ceiling.
Her leather sofas have been shortened and cotton stuffing is scattered willy-nilly. Tables
and lamps were broken to pieces. Framed pictures of family and friends, before resting on
the mantelpiece was thrown against the wall, broken and torn. The sheer hatred permeates
the room was suffocating.
She walked over to the rest of the house and found that everything he owned was either
damaged or decimated. Most of his worldly possessions inside the house was reduced to
junk.
He vaguely heard the twins trailing after her, and Rance, calling her their legacy. She
ignored all three of them.
Strong sentiment grew inside Alex. The devastation of what happened was fueling fury like
never felt before. She felt her blood boil and ears will ring. The intense heat engulfed her
body. All he could think about was revenge for this injustice. She felt like a dormant
volcano suddenly set to explode, destroying everything in its path. The pressure was too
much and soon explode. Panting heavily, severe pain suddenly shot through her, radiating
from her stomach to her limbs. Falling to his knees, grabbed her skirt in an attempt to
reduce the pain.
Her friend was screaming in my head, and she instinctively conclude their mental link. The
molten fire quickly spread pain; to flood your muscles and bones, just eat it and spit it raw
and trembling.
The twins watched helplessly as he writhed on the floor.

Rance was crazy. He was in his study undergoing extensive business interests of the pack,

4. while talking with Alex. He tried to calm her down, he felt the rising emotions raging
inside her, but to no avail. Initial excruciating pain ravaging his friend zinged through
their link to it fall to the documents, which holds a scattering them on the floor. Echoes of
pain from it feeling that the torch has been setting the bodies on fire. Muscles and bones
felt like they were pulled like putty. The pain was wracking Alex's whole body and Rance
experienced it with her. God was shifting, alone, without him there to facilitate her
journey.
He put on his desk. Rance stumbled and ran for the door. Ebb and flow of pain seemed to
be subsiding, but Alex was unresponsive to his mental challenges. Ignoring all rushed
down the hall, while telepathically tells Damian to his car around. Slamming open the front
door, descended the steps of the castle in the sprint. He rushes to be there for Alex.
Like Damian stopped Bugatti Veyron 16.4 before Rance heard Troy exclaimed - "Alpha, you
can not believe what's happening!" is usually calm mind immediately Luc beam wildly
animated, "Alpha Regina is changing. This is incredible!"
said, "That's not possible. Month, which still is not out there, there is a full moon,"
Damian doubtful. "Maybe you're wrong."
Rance remained calm when replacing Damian in the driver's seat. He wanted to
concentrate on driving and not get into an accident. He felt a tingling in his skin, and he
knew that the twins are rightly believe that Alex has been a shift. His friends needed him
now, and that it would fail.
"No, sir, we're not," said Luc. "Regina is currently sprouting hair and slowly moves into
his wolf form."
"Leave! Give her privacy for his first inning," Rance commanded twins. "Go into the hall
and one of you out there waiting for us. never leave her alone in the house. We'll be there
in fifteen minutes, God willing." Damian looked askance at the ranch. There was no way
they could do it so quickly. She lived at least twenty-five minutes from the house. When he
was about to point him to his alpha, Rance just stared at the floor and Damiana gas to
Bugatti, he hurried away.
Impossible as it may sound, his friend was a shift for the first time. Luna in its wisdom
gifted her mate with the option to move without a full moon. He could only believe that the
goddess had a good reason. In due time, Rance knew Luna to reveal it. All you had to do
was be there for Alex. It could be fear based on her first shift. He would appease his
comrade, that everything was going to be okay.

Alex could not understand what was happening. First, it felt amazing and inexplicable
anger arising from a breach of her home. Suddenly, burning, stemming from her belly
began to eat their bodies, which drove her to her knees, and then, unbearable itching
under the skin. She heard popping sounds different as her muscles and bones stretch and
pulled. She whimpered as her body was drawn tight and the sudden flash of bright light
engulfed her writhing form, and Alex: Oh shit. Four legs . not freak out. I'm not crazy.
Alex told himself like a mantra.

5. Since light slowly faded, there was harsh panting and whining from the direction of the
floor. Luc slowly entered the bedroom and went to the stretched shape of his Regina . He
knelt beside her, bowed, and revealed to her neck. He waited patiently until she recovered
from the first inning.
It was a beautiful wolf. Its a reddish-colored hair glistened health and vitality. It was not
too large in comparison born wolf shifters, but she was perfect in every sense of the word.
Her hips muscular and strong looking. Her feet were completed by deadly looking claws.
Alex ears pricked when picking up noise around her. She opened her eyes for the first time
as a wolf when he saw how bright and clear everything seemed; and her sense of smell was
greatly magnified. The nose twitched as she tried to identify and distinguish the smell
inside your house. She lifted her head off the floor, then noticed one of the twins kneeling
before her.
Sniffing gently at him and noticed his clothes and serious mien, he concluded that it was
Luc, who was in front of her. Alex opened her mouth to ask Luc, what is happening.
Everything that came out of her grumpy whining sound. Frustrated, she sat on his
haunches and stared at Luc.
Luc tried to suppress her amusement at the sight of his Regina obvious frustration and
anger. A hint of a smile at the corner of his mouth was the only indication of his mirth.
"Excuse me, Alex," he said carefully. "You want to talk to me, you can do it mentally."
"Why did not you say so in the first place!" blasted Alex.
Luc ducked because his Regina literally screamed through the mental connection. Luc
hoped his Alpha to get there early. It seemed to him that their Regina was quite a nerve.
"What's that nasty smell? It smells in here." Alex was sniffing all over the bedroom.
Whoever's destruction left a very foul odor. She went from one room to another, tracking
odor. Luc was quietly behind him. It was all over my house. There was no way that bleach
could take such a stench!
"What is the scent spoor left by his stalker," said Luc said.
"Why, why would a virtual stranger? amount of energy used and the level of hatred reveals
only that it's personal." Alex wolf lifted his head toward Luc query. "Do not you think so?"
Alex did not wait for an answer Luc as she turned and ran into his living room. The room
was a total mess. There was nothing here that was saved. She looked intently at the walls.
Squiggly red marks on them were actually written words!
She picked her way carefully one of the walls. Skirting ruined furniture and carefully
stepping over the red stains on the carpet when it finally arrived. She tilted her head to the
left and right, to a sense of morbid graffiti.
strange manuscript ... almost like gibberish to me. For the life of her she could not
decipher. Luc turned to ask him if he could give meaning to write, but rough whimper
came from the wolf's mouth again. Damn! I keep forgetting that I'm not human anymore.
She grinned to himself, and hoped that she could quickly adapt to this shit.

6. Noticing that Luc seemed to be immersed in the writing on the wall, sat her hairy butt next
to him. After that the had enough time to puzzle over graffiti, she nudged her leg closest to
your nose.
"Any clue what this writing is about?" finally remembered thinking discussion.
"Hmmm? Oh!" Luc was startled out of deep thought. It seemed that pervert responsible for
this desecration of their Regina 's home and murders were one and the same. Was
another clue to jot confusion murders. Typing on Alex's walls claimed responsibility for all
the killings and destruction wrought in my house.
Although written in an obscure ancient text known only scientific shifters, Luc had a
problem decrypt it. It was in their favor, that he was a lot of interest and has been
extensively studied everything mysterious and old, that he could get his hands on.
"It is written in one of our old writings., I translated it as close to the literal meaning ..."
"A?" Alex interrupted, hearing the beta hesitation in his voice.
"It does not make sense. Rambling It's like a crazy person."
"Well, duh! Who else in their right mind would come and trash my house, but someone
crazy?" Alex pointed out. She huffed a deep breath and tried to overcome the rage again.
She had no idea what would happen next if she did. She could become one of those
monstrous looking werewolves appear on TV and can start eating any human in sight!
Eeew rude! shook off that nasty thoughts.
It seems that I have not thought enough quiet because Luc shot an incredulous glance her
way. An amused twinkle in his eyes belied his cool tone as he spoke. "Oh, we usually do not
go to eat people. But yes, you can move into hybrid forms. Mostly we reserve for battle. And
for your information, I have not eaten any people ... yet." He winked.
Alex was about to deliver a humorous scene when she heard the screech of tires outside
her house. The sudden opening and closing the car door with her jump up and go before
the closed front door.
Rance felt before they even heard his deep, booming voice. Quick clatter of steps heralded
man when he burst inside. Rance was at the very front, followed closely behind dangerous-looking
men and Troy. When Rance saw her, he stopped. Alex tried to frown at him, but I
do not think they quite pulled it in his wolf form.
Casting the watchful eyes on her husband, Rance evaluated how Alex felt. He could not
clearly say how she felt in her custody. She was getting better at masking their emotions
out of it. He felt quite proud of how quickly she cope with her new abilities. Although
somewhat ambivalent, as she would receive him, still approached her - slowly. Goddess is
beautiful! Rance thought. It was a stunning wolf. He had never seen color like her, ever.
Fading light outside her coat shine brightly and cast the mystery of her gray eyes. Standing
majestically in front of him, without fear and exude an aura of dignity deterioration. He
wanted to howl with pride how nobly appeared. He eagerly looking forward to running with
her in the woods - could not wait to show her my world

Rance felt humbled Luna present. Alex was everything you could ever need and want from
a partner. As he wanted to hold him in her arms to show her how much blessing that was
really it. Right. Crazy stalker, chaos and destruction first pressed it over his body and with
his friend in his wolf form later.
"Hey Alex," they smiled at her uncertainly. "I'm really sorry I was not there on the first
shift, little one." He went on to be with her until he was directly in front of her wolf. He
knelt on one knee so that he was at eye level with his friend, drank in her lovely form. Alex
sat down and leaned her head on Rance.
