Station opens at 05h09 (5.09am) and closes at 21h30 (9.30pm)
Situated north of the Johannesburg Park Station in Braamfontein, beneath Smit and Wolmarans
Streets.
There are two pedestrian entrances. One between the northern exit of the Johannesburg Park
Station and Wolmarans Street and the second on the corner of Eloff and Wolmarans Streets.
The entrance to the car park, as well as the pedestrian drop off, is in Eloff Street, just off Wolmarans
Street.
2. The Gautrain bus stops are in Wolmarans Street.
To access the Gautrain from the Shosholoza Meyl Passenger Train, go up one level from the
Shosholoza platfrom - into the concourse, and go up the escalators at the northern end of the
concourse.
Once off the escalators, keep walking straight, past all the fast food outlets.
The Gautrain Park Station is in front of you, once out of the Johannesburg station building.
To access the Gautrain from the Main Line Buses (Intercape, Greyhound etc), walk into the main
station concourse building, and go up the escalators at the northern end of the concourse.

There is a passenger drop off point in the parking garage, with access from both Oxford road and
Baker Street.

Situated deep under Rivonia Road, between West and 5th Streets, Sandton CBD.
The pedestrian entrance to the Sandton Station is on the corner of West Street and Rivonia Road -
diagonally across the road from the Radison Blu "Gautrain Hotel".
3. The vehicle entrance to the multi-level parking, is a little further up West street, away from the
corner with Rivonia Road.
The Sandton City Shopping Mall and the Mandela Square Shopping Mall are adjacent to the Sandton
station, with a number of restaurants and banks.
Numerous Hotels are in the vicinity of the station.

Next to the N3 Highway / Marlboro Drive interchange.
Close to the suburbs of Marlboro, Linbro Park, Alexandra and Rembrandt Park.
A shuttle bus service operates between Marlboro Station and Linbro Park.
A ticket must be bought from the Marlboro Station's bus office, as the Gautrain Gold Card and cash
are not accepted.

GAUTRAIN TICKETS
CASH is NOT accepted on the trains, on the buses or at parking exit gates.
Your "ticket" is a Gautrain Gold contactless smart Card.
You'll only be allowed access to the trains or the buses, with a valid smart Card.
This costs you R13-00 and becomes your property - valid for 3 years.
When you buy the card, you also pay for, and load, whatever amount of credit you choose, onto the
card.
You can do this at the ticket offices and ticket vending machines at all Gautrain stations, as well as
certain retail outlets in the environs of the bus routes that sell the card as well as credits.
Every time you use a train, bus or parking service, the amount due will be debited from your card.
You can register your Gold Card at a ticket office so as to blacklistit should it be lost or stolen.
Un-used credit on the missing card can be transferred to your new card.

Numerous reports on the Gautrain Facebook page point to a somewhat slow, or non-existant
response.
GAUTRAIN SAFETY AND SECURITY
The service is very secure, with security personnel present, both on and off the train.
