United States

the animals die
during the research.

end up in a
research lab.

7. Chimpanzees used to
heavily populate 25
African countries…

8. but after being taken for testing…

9. they’re almost extinct in13 of them.

10. Draize eye test

11. 500,000 rabbits
are used every
year for the
Draize test…

12. which is where a substance is
put into one of the rabbits eyes
to see the affects.

13. Botox…

14. is injected into animals stomachs,

15. that then courses through their
bloodstream,

16. and suffocates them after 3-4 days.

18. So that people don’t have
to live with wrinkles.

Animal tests are not always
reliable or accurate…

people are hospitalized
from using failed drugs...

after being tested
on animals.

technology

advanced

many methods
that can help
replace animal
testing and

more
experimenters
need to actually
use them.

to do much there…

35. But there’s still lots of
other things you can
do…

volunteer at a
local animal
shelter.

37. You can write a letter to
your newspaper and ask to
include an article on animal
rights.

38. You can make a
website online.

39. You can create a display
or poster for your local
library.

40. You can start a fundraiser
and donate to an animal
rights group.

word out!
