• Developed customcontrollers, triggers,UI pages with heavy javascripting and jquery to not let the user use the
native Salesforce layout to configure data thus making the usernot realize that he is using Salesforce service.
Hadoop: March – April ‘14
• Developed MapReduce jobs to derive various statistics and patterns from5 million Chicago crime records and also
implemented K-Means clustering to find groups ofsimilar crime records.Tasks: Data Pre-processing-Removed
redundant attributes, replaced missing values, kept updating the centroids till they converge and after the final
iteration the crime records were assigned to theirrespective clusters.
• Successfully computed the frequency of co-occurrence for every pair of movies from the MovieLens data that
receive a "High" ranking from the same userand also computing the conditionalprobability between the two
movies. This can be used as a primitive way to recommend movie B to customers that rent movie A and like it.
User Interface Development & Design: April ‘14

Technologies used:Drupal 7, modified the theme, included usefulmodules for an efficient functionalsite.
Data Mining: February - May ‘13
• Successfully completed crime incident prediction in Washington DCwards, depending upon the weatherand time of
the day,co-occurrence relationship using Java, JAXB, WEKA and also applied various classification and clustering
algorithms to group similar crime types and thus achieved an accuracy of 96.98 %.
• Successfully classified Amazon user’s product reviews as respective starratings with 53% accuracy using Java for
data pre-processing and WEKA for implementing mining algorithms and building efficient models to train.
