Project Name : Proximus - DUC Tool Integration to CGUI

Project Description
Proximus BIM MCS is the mobile billing department of Proximus, a large telecom
provider in Belgium, which has several applications in the BSS Stack. My role is
to develop, unit test the code and write system test plan.
DUC Integration to CGUI
CGUI stand for Correction Graphical User Interface, which provides an user
interface for the CSA’s (Customer Service Agents) to provide corrections on the
invoices generated in postpaid mobile billing section. The data usage
corrections are provided in a separate application called DUC (Data Usage
Corrections). DUC is being integrated into CGUI with new servlets developed
and backend logic enhanced to fetch appropriate details from the database.
As part of an additional requirement, a web service was developed which
provide the number of data usage corrections that are currently pending in the
billing system. This service was consumed by another application called e -
Services where the CSA could login and view the details. SOAP-UI was used to
test the web services generated.

Project Description
A project dashboard has been created using Java/J2EE to provide a view of all
the project metrics. All the project metrics were loaded into database and
various reports were generated based on the template chosen. This was
developed using Java/ J2EE (Servlets and JSP) and HighCharts was used to
generate dynamic charts regarding project metrics like outstanding problem
tickets, current status of the projects and the resource utilization.
