VALUE ADDED EXPERIENCE:-
Department of Electrical Communication Engineering Indian Institute of Science,
Bangalore (July 2013-August 2013) PROJECT INTERN:
Acquired hands-on experience in Design and Deployment of Wireless Mesh Relay
Networks for Industrial Sensor Networking. Worked on a wireless sensor device titled
“Smartdetect” to identify human intrusion in secure areas. It is an implementation of signal
processing and networking over a TinyOS environment on commercial off-the-shelf
‘motes’.
Performed study of power-aware and self-organizing algorithms for signal processing and
networking and its implementation in TelosB mote.
2. Summer Internship Program- TATA Teleservices Limited, Bangalore (June 2014-August
2014) PROJECT INTERN: NETWORK OPERATIONS
Successfully implemented a software package involving LAMP Architecture to generate an
automated alert system to establish and identify the failure of a SIP line (De-registry).
During normal operations, software or firmware performs MANUAL error detection
conditions concerning specific Maintenance Objects (MOs). This software telephony
system built on a 3-Tier architecture of Java, MySQL, PHP AUTOMATICALLY attempts to fix
or circumvent the problem.
Project Engineering Intern- Department of Electrical Communication Engineering Indian
Institute of Science, Bangalore (January 2015-April 2015)
Worked on a problem statement to design, develop and emulate a Software Defined
Network, and demonstrate an SDN based solution to enable efficient and optimized usage
of provisioned servers on cloud based networks.
Successfully implemented an algorithm using POX controller, on Mininet platform to
efficiently drop servers and shift the load to fewer servers.
The algorithm implemented in the code was able to achieve perfect behaviour with traffic
load on the network. This fact was verified by the simulation, wherein the utilization of one
server was minimized by 50%. Therefore the energy efficiency was doubled (2-X), after
adopting this implementation technique.
