5. Nur Muhammad Taraki was murdered on the 14th of
September in 1979. He was ordered dead by
Hafizullah Amin
Amin lived short in the office because of his crimes committed,
including the death of former President, Takari. Then, on the 27th of
December in 1979 the Soviet Union assassinated him and was
replaced with a pro - soviet communist leader, Babrak Karmal.
