Lufthansa partnered with match2blue to create the Lufthansa Miles & More MemberScout mobile app. The app allows Lufthansa frequent flyers to connect with each other, share travel information, and receive location-based coupons and special offers from Lufthansa partners. Match2blue's platform also allows companies to promote offers using "bonus points" as a universal virtual currency for customers to redeem savings.
