1. Empowering Teachers
Dr. Nellie Deutsch (Ed.D) is an education technology
consultant. She’s on Ed Media executive and planning
committee, WAOE, TESOL CALL-IS EVO Coordination.
Nellie has been teaching English in high school and
higher education for over 35 years and integrating
technology since 1992. She organizes free online events
such as MOOCs, online conferences (Connecting Online
and Moodle MOOT) and workshops on how to manage
and teach fully online or blended learning using Moodle,
WizIQ, Slidespeech, Screencast-o-matic, and google
drive to engage learners in active authentic discovery
learning by creating videos to document the process and
teach as a way to learn.
