Indraveti national park is a national park situated in Bilaspur region of Chhattisgarh state. it is around 168 km far from Jagdalpur. It gets its name from the close by Indravati River which streams from east to west.

4. It is open throughout the year but the best time to visit the park is during 15
December to 15 June.

6. It is the only tiger reserve in the chhattisgarh. The National Park has a total
area of approximately 2799.08 km.
7. In the year 1981, the park got the status of a tiger reserve and in the year 1993,
the park got the status of a National Park, under the Project Tiger.
8. This park was established with an objective to protect some of the most
endangered species such as Wild Buffalos and Hill Mynas living in the park
area.
9. This Park is famous for the wild Buffaloes,Barking deer, chital, nilgai and
many animals.
