However, I will go in to more detail of information warfare and cyber–terrorism as I introduce the

the past, currently spies on other countries, and will spy on other countries for a long time to come.

This chapter includes background and statement of the problem, the significance of the study, the
purpose of the study, the research questions, the research hypotheses, the research variables, the
conceptual and operational definitions of cohesion, and the definition of basic terms.
After Bain (1867) classified prose discourse into four discourse modes, he postulated that quality in
each mode comprised the elements of unity, mass (later known as emphasis), and coherence.
Conners (1981) stipulated that Bain 's ideas greatly influenced composition instruction. This status
went on until 1950 when it started to diminish gradually, "giving way to conceptualizations of
written discourse that place increased emphasis on the contexts for writing (e.g., Kinneavy, 1971)

connections within society. Julie Matthews regards education being concerned with the transmission
of culture, values, beliefs, knowledge and skills (2013,p166). Social insights into learner's
backgrounds can expose how and why student's act and think in a particular way. Developmentally

Ever since my later adolescence years, I have always been intrigued by the diverse complexity of
the human brain. Numerous days I have sat down obtrusively observing my surroundings just to

Researching my family and my background, I have found that I have ancestors from several
countries, including Germany, Sweden, England, Ireland, and Scotland. They all came to America
for a variety of reasons ranging from religious persecution, hope for a better life with better economic
conditions, famine, family issues, and to colonize America. First off I had a lot of relatives come to
Connecticut from England in the 17th century to form colonies that came for many reasons, one of

My educational background began with me attending public school for about three years, then I
went to catholic school. Middle school was the best part of my education. In middle school I was

Similarities in culture is more so the same then not. Even though our early childhood was around
drugs and alcohol our parents made sure we were at church with either grandparent learning the
