How To Display A Nataraja Statue In Your House
A Summary of Installing a Natraja Statue at Home
It's common knowledge that attempting to maintain a Nataraja statue at home causes family disputes,
irrational outbursts, and negative energy that only disappears once the statue is taken down. A lot of
temples, according to what we've heard, accept gifts of figurines, some of which are a year old and
others that look to be almost brand new. What is it about this cosmic destroyer that terrifies people to
the point where they search for a place for him distant from where they live? But why do folk artists all
around the globe respect the Lord?
And why does this Hindu deity reside permanently at the CERN, officially known as the European Council
for Nuclear Research, in the area between buildings 39 and 40? Fritjof Capra, a physicist, writes in his
book "The Tao of Physics" that "The Dance of Shiva represents the base of all creation. Shiva also acts as
a reminder that the world's diverse forms are not fundamental but only deceptive and ever-changing.
Modern physics has shown that both organic and inorganic materials exhibit the rhythm of creation and
fragmentation, as well as the annual cycle of the seasons and the birth and death of all living things.

You see, a coin always has two sides. A magnificent blending of faith, science, and the arts. Isn't that
wonderful? Shiva is regarded as one of, if not the most adored deity in Hinduism. He is a common
character in myths and tales and resides in every home in the east. To invite this terrible deity into your
life, there are a few rules to follow. Here are some ideas for Vastu placement of a Nataraja statue in
your home.
10 Tips For Using The Elements Of The Cosmic Dancer's Statue At Home With Nataraja
 Even today, Lord Nataraja is shown as a single item with two faces, much like a coin. In addition
to being admired and idolised for his divine dance, he is admired for his capacity to restrain the
deadly fury it unleashes. Lord Nataraja is commonly shown as performing the Tandav, a cosmic
dance, in a ferocious form. The Tandav may be performed in either a pleasant condition or with
unrelenting rage.
 Nataraja is one of the few heavenly understandings that hasn't changed all that much over the
years. A few of the numerous scriptures on which the various interpretations of the Lord's
symbolism are based are the Unmai Vilakkam, Mummani Kovai, Tirukuttu Darshana, and
Tiruvatavurar Puranam.
 The Nataraja is represented as a concentric circle of flames in the Prabha Mandala's centre. This
circle represents the endless cosmic fire that simultaneously generates and consumes
everything in existence. On either side of the ring of fire, two Makaras elevate it.
 The Lord's long hair flows out behind his head, and his bent knees wonderfully represent his
energetic dancing.
 The heavenly Ganges, which is contained in the Lord's matted hair on the right side of the
forehead, streams forth in order to sustain the life in the area surrounding her waters.
 His crown is decorated with a human skull, a crescent moon, and the Datura flower.
 Usually, the Lord is shown as having four arms, although some versions of him may have 10
arms.
 The Damaru, a holy instrument tied to rhythm and time, is held by him in his upper right hand
and is shaken while he dances.
 He is carrying Agni, the flame of creation and destruction, in his left upper hand.
 His palm depicts the Abhaya mudra, which is supposed to represent fearlessness in the face of
evil, while his lower right hand slithers with a cobra.
 The Lord's face is defined by the third eye on his forehead. The first eye represents the sun, the
second the moon, and the third the wisdom one learns while seeking inner enlightenment and
self-realization.
 The Lord is shown dancing on the head of Apasmara, a dwarf demon that stands for ignorance
and wickedness and is vanquished by the cosmic dance. Because his existence keeps the balance
between spiritual knowledge and ignorance, Apasmara should never be slain; instead, he should
be tamed. In the event of his passing, information would be less valuable since it would be more
widely available.
Tips To Strengthen Shiva's Divine Connection
On four levels, one might experience a strong connection to the Divine.
Saamipya
It entails feeling deeply a part of and valuable to the Divine. When are you going to experience this for
real? Will you feel this connection right now, in ten days, tomorrow, or in a few months? No! Feel as
though the Divine is right now, at this specific instant, extremely close to you. This is what a guru does. A
guru can help people experience this closeness to the Divine.
Saanidhi
The Sanskrit word saanidhya means to invoke or sense the Divine. When you meditate, you become
aware of the Divine's existence and experience its power. For example, although though we are
continually surrounded by air, we are not always conscious of it. When you take a deep breath, you
become conscious of the air's existence. Similar to this, even though God is always all around us, we
cannot feel His presence. To sense the Divine's presence, we participate in yajnas, pujas, and different
festivals.
Saarupya
Saarupya is the recognition of the Divine in all things and in all people. It means to have the impression
that "the Divine is in me, and I am the Divine." recognising the Divine's presence in every form I
encounter, even my own. Despite having no physical form, the Divine is present everywhere.
Saayuja
The greatest state is Saayuja Saayujya, which implies experiencing total one with the Divine and
perceiving no separation between you and the Divine. There are no two things in this condition; there is
just One (or dualities). You can only feel this union when you are totally united with the Divine, in
profound solitude, and in the stillness of your Being.
5 Things To Keep In Mind While Getting A Natraja Statue For Home
Here are some important things you should keep in mind before getting a dancing Shiva statue:
1) Be mindful of the symbolism and importance
One of Hinduism's most profound and deep gods, Shiva is without a doubt replete with strong
symbolism in all of his various incarnations. He represents the dual aspect of existence and is revered by
a large number of Indian worshippers as the deity of both creation and destruction.
Nataraj statue within the residence
Most people are not aware that Shiva's vibration should be amplified by being put in specific places.
Vastu, the Ayurvedic science of construction, suggests that Shivling statues should be placed in the
northeast corner of the dwelling. This location is perfect for setting up the pooja room because it is
known as the Ishan corner (meditation spot). A Shiva statue should be placed on a sacred table, but it
can also be put somewhere that won't be too close to anything else. A clothesline, the edge of a bed, or
below anything should not be placed too close to the statue. Shiva, in contrast to Ganesha, has an
excessive amount of energy and truly doesn't fit in a job.
3) Sitting statue Shiva against Shiva the dancer
Since the dance of creation is taking place, the energy of a Shiva who is meditating is inherently calmer
than the energy of a Shiva who is dancing. When choosing a location for your Shiva statue at home, keep
this in mind since you want something that will increase your energy. A high-energy personality, for
instance, should obtain the sort of energy that comes through meditation rather than more of the kind
that they already have.
4) One Is Allowed
On your altar, just one Lord Shiva statue idol should ever be present. Shiva statues in your home should
be numerous to achieve harmony. One is all you need for it to function!
5) Shiva Ritual Practices
 Make it a routine to do Shiva morning and evening prayers at your house every day.
 Light several incense sticks next to the statue as an offering. Repeat "Namah Shiva" out loud a
few times.
 On Mondays, it is customary to offer milk or other treat prepared from milk to the Lord. Simply
spend more time in meditation close to your altar if you don't like it.
 Always pay respect to Lord Ganesha before offering prayers to Lord Shiva. He has a duty to take
out everything that prevents people from receiving the benefits of prayer.

A high-energy personality, for instance, should obtain the sort of energy that comes through meditation rather than more of the kind that they already have. 4) One Is Allowed On your altar, just one Lord Shiva statue idol should ever be present. Shiva statues in your home should be numerous to achieve harmony. One is all you need for it to function! 5) Shiva Ritual Practices  Make it a routine to do Shiva morning and evening prayers at your house every day.  Light several incense sticks next to the statue as an offering. Repeat "Namah Shiva" out loud a few times.  On Mondays, it is customary to offer milk or other treat prepared from milk to the Lord. Simply spend more time in meditation close to your altar if you don't like it.  Always pay respect to Lord Ganesha before offering prayers to Lord Shiva. He has a duty to take out everything that prevents people from receiving the benefits of prayer.
