services for companion animals. As a group of professionals
dedicated to helping animals, Naperville Animal Hospital
works with local organizations to improve the quality of life
for pets throughout the greater Chicago area.
The clinic and its staff also volunteer with the Naperville
Area Humane Society. In addition to veterinary
professionals, the organization accepts volunteers from all
backgrounds. Volunteering with local humane societies and
shelters is a great way for animal lovers to give back to
their communities.

3. Humane Society
 The Naperville Area Humane Society currently needs
volunteers for a variety of tasks. Those who prefer to
work in the shelter can choose from duties including
carrying out office work, walking animals, and cleaning
kennels. Meanwhile, individuals and families can
temporarily house animals available for adoption so that
they can better acclimate to their new forever homes.
Finally, the organization needs volunteers to educate
children on treating animals with dignity and
compassion, which helps to break the cycle of neglect
and abuse.
