We can do two things about dropouts. // Nothing, meaning they'll continue to go without jobs, get in trouble and
cost us money in welfare and other social service programs. / Or we can train dropouts and put them to work – with

practical, occupation-oriented education programs that lead to good jobs. // Instead of collecting welfare, they'll
earn a skilled employment wage. / They'll pay taxes. They'll buy houses. They'll invest in their futures. //
                                 /
Re-engaging dropouts in the workforce is actually a growth strategy for Pennsylvania. // It will create jobs, reduce
crime and solve the coming labor shortage that could force companies out of Pennsylvania. / Find out more at
