in fashion design and architecture have paved the way on my multifaceted career path.
I have extensive experience and insight within youth culture, fashion and the lifestyle industry; practiced in
retail management and merchandising, fashion design and styling, brand development, public relations as
well as trends research and reporting.
Some highlights of my professional journey include occupancy of the Invention Strategist position at
Mindshare Media (2011-2013). My role entailed trends analysis, creative consultancy, presentation and
implementation for brands such as Ford, Volvo, Multichoice (M-NET and DSTV) and KFC. I currently occupy
the position of Youth Specialist in the Segment Marketing division at Vodacom SA (2014 to present).
My freelance styling portfolio has seen contribution to brands and publications like Aussie Hair, Loxion
Kulca, VOILA, Marie Claire, Wanted (Business Day) and Elle. My personal passion projects include a
bespoke fashion label ‘me & ms jones’ and a collaborative photo-blog entitled ‘The Life of Roses’. I take a
passionate and inquisitive approach to projects and dive head first into challenges. Whilst being highly
independent and self-sufficient, I adapt well into a team structure by virtue of my personable and friendly
personality. I influence my peers with my creative intuition, contagious energy and inherent versatility.
