Please be advised that at the special Board Meeting held on September 28, 2009, the
Governing Board placed Dr. Mohr on unpaid administrative leave for thirty days. During
this time Paul V. Christensen will handle all decisions in the Business Office, Human
Relations, and Support areas of the District and Lorinda Brown will handle all decisions
with regards to Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment.
During these challenging times we need to all focus on doing our jobs and doing them
well so that we can provide the best services possible to our students and the Murphy
Community. Let’s keep our goals for student achievement as our first priority and put
aside other rumors or speculations that would detract our attention from accomplishing
our goals.
It is important that we all pull together during these difficult times and remain a strong
Murphy family.
