The St. Jude-Washington University Pediatric Cancer Genome Project is a collaborative effort between researchers at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Washington University School of Medicine. The project involves analyzing the genomes of over 600 pediatric cancer patients to understand how some aggressive forms of childhood cancer develop. Researchers compare the genomes of normal and cancer cells to pinpoint differences in DNA and determine which disparities are linked to cancer. Data from the project is posted online.
