Behavior on Leash
Pulls She'll definitely tug you toward where she wants to go,
but it's manageable.
Behavior With Strangers
Enthusiastic
Polite-Friendly Initially sniffs and wags her tail nicely, but she'll jump
up if you give her the chance!
Cage Behavior - Activity
Excited Exit She tried to bust out every time I opened the cage, so
I did some light cage training so she wouldn't leap
right out of the top cage. She did try to jump by
herself but I grabbed her and helped her down easily.
Moderately active, settles with some attention in cage She is very wiggly in the cage, ready to get out as
soon as she can.
Cage Behavior - Cleanliness
Never a mess (easy to train)
Cage Behavior - Noise Level
Barks when excited or alarmed (may not be a good choice
for families with kids)
She also seemed to bark a little for attention but would
stop as soon as I came over to the cage. During the
bit of cage work I did, she did not bark at all, even
though I turnedand walked away, so I did not feel she
should be marked as "barks for attention."
Cage Behavior-Strangers
Front of cage, soliciting
Food Bowl
Passed She easily let me move the bowl and her face with the
assist-a-hand. When I petted her with it, she turned to
look at me, wagging her tail, and did not continue
eating until I had stopped touching her.
General Observations
Active
Confident
Distracted By other people.
Gentle Takes treats nicely.
People-Centered She absolutely loves people! If there are many
around, you might have to try training her in a more
remote part of the yard.
Playful Hopped after me playfully during "tag."

Responds Readily for treats and attention.
House Broken
Unknown She did #1 outside and there was no mess in her cage.
Physical Control - Hug
Easy to handle
Mellow and tractable She loves pets and will quickly come to you for
attention.
Prior Training
None
Recommendations
Children She could do well with children, given that she had no
issues with eye contact or being touched. However,
given her tendency to jump on people when excited,
she would probably do better in a home with older
children rather than younger.
First Impression She seems like a happy, well socialized dog who
loves attention. Training her should be easy, based
on her love of hot dogs. :)
Safety Exam
Date 9-5-13 WMU passed.
Toys
No Interest
Passed She played slightly with the squeaky toy but dropped it
and turned to me as soon as I came close to it with
the assess-a-hand. Some attention to the tennis ball
but didn't pick it up, no attention to the rope toy.
