of Kerala & NTPC Limited requires the following personnel:
ENGINEER TRAINEES - 20 Nos
(Electrical - 15 Nos & Mechanical - 5 Nos)
Qualification: First Class Degree in Engineering in relevant discipline
MANAGEMENT TRAINEE (HR) -1 No
Qualification: Should have passed full time course in MBA (HR) or 2 years F ull Ti me PG
Degree in personnel M anagem ent/H um an R esource Management/Industrial
Relations/Labour Welfare/Industrial Sociology
OPERATOR GRADE III TRAINEES - 74 Nos
(Fitter - 35 Nos, Electrician - 35 Nos, Machinist - 4 Nos)
Qualification: S.S.L.C. or equivalent and NCVT (ITI/ITC) certificate in relevant trade.
Age: (for all positions): Not to exceed 35 years as on 01.01.2011 (with usual relaxations for SC / ST /
OBC / Physically challenged candidates) as per Government rules Stipend: Engineer Trainee &
Management Trainees: Rs.13,000*/- per month during one year training period. Operator
Grade III Trainees: Rs. 4,000*/- per month during one year training period. Scale of pay:
Engineer Trainee & Management Trainees: On successful completion of training, the Trainees
will be placed in the scale of pay of Rs.13,270 - Rs.23,200* plus allowances and other benefits
admissible as per Company’s Rules.
Operator Grade III Trainees: On successful completion of training, the Trainees will be
placed in the scale of pay of Rs.5,250 - Rs.9,190* plus allowances and other benefits
admissible as per Company’s Rules.
*Due for upward revision.
● Engineer Trainees & Operator Gr III Trainees - Since the candidates selected to the posts may have
to work in rotating shifts including night shifts, only candidates willing to work in shifts including night
shift need to apply.
● The selected candidates would be required to execute a service agreement bond to serve the company for 3
years after successful completion of the training.
