1. Science Zonal Centre Level
The students of DAV Public School Khera Khurd , Delhi participated in
Zonal State Level Science Exhibition
and fair 2013-2014 on
3rd October ’2013 organized by Science Centre No.1 , Directorate of
Education and brought laurels to the school by getting selected for
Centre Level . The school entered for 4 categories with 4 models and
was selected for all the four categories.
Priyanka Rana and Diya Mann of class V B were selected for the
Primary Science category with the topic “Air is bad conductor “,
Ankit Mishra and Nikita Poria of VII B won the birth for Middle Science
with the topic “Natural Indicators” , where as duo Astha Garg &
Nidhi Sharma of IX A and Shivani Mann & Nikhil Mann of XB were
selected under Environment and Health category , respectively.
Further, Ankit Mishra and Nikita Poria of VII B added glory by getting
selected for the State level .
School Principal , Mrs Devika Dutt , appreciated the scientific notions
lying behind the themes and encouraged them to share the motive
confidently with every viewer and examiner . She appreciated the
involvement of her teachers , Ms. Jyotsna Srivastava , Ms. Jaimala
Sharma & Ms. Neelam Sharma and wished them success in future
ventures to come.
