3. Geography/ land
Kentucky is a beautiful state. The eastern part of Kentucky is
made up of the Appalachian mountains and the highest point in
Kentucky Black Mountain. The central part of the state has rich
soil, “bluegrass”, and caves. It also has gentle rolling hills. The western
part of Kentucky mostly has flatlands. Like the central part of Kentucky
it also has rich soil. Kentucky also has many rivers that are important
to them. They form borders, are used for recreation, and
transportation. That is Kentucky's geography.
4. Louisville Slugger Museum
The Louisville Slugger Museum is a fun
place where all the Louisville Slugger Bats are
made. Did you know the worlds biggest baseball
bat is out in front of it? Here's what you can
do, you can see people making baseball bats, hit
in a batting cage, watch a movie, and much more.
It cost 11$ for adults, 10$ for seniors, and 6$ for
kids. Monday- Saturday its open 9am to 5pm
eastern time. Sunday 11am to 5pm. you should
really go there.
5. Kentucky Derby Museum
Have you ever been to the Kentucky
Derby Museum? Well if you said no here’s all
you need to know.

6. Kentucky Derby
Do you know anything about the Kentucky Derby? I do! The fist
derby ever was held in 1875 at Churchill Downs. It is always on the
first Saturday in May. The Derby used to be 1.5 miles long now is
1.25 miles long. Mint julep and burgoo are the official food and
drink of the Derby. 155,000 people attend the derby on average. A
garland of roses is presented to the winner in the winners circle
and most ladies wear big and puffy hats. A ticket just to get in and
no seats are around 50 dollars! Those are some basic facts about
the Kentucky Derby.
7. Dale Hollow Lake State Park
Dale Hollow has many things to do

You can also take a tour through Cindy cave and play
pool, fuse ball, and cards in the arcade. You can see catfish
and five species of bass and birds such as the northern

Hollow Lake state park.
