ROBOTS FOR THE
         HOME!
LEARN THE IMPORTANCE OF OWNING A ROBOT.
ROBOTS IN TODAY’S WORLD

• Robots have been becoming more and more popular over the past few years. In fact I believe
eventually, in the near future there will be “human like” robots that will be able to help use with
anything we may need. However as for today, robots are a bit less complex, but they’re still very helpful.
Today we have robots that will help us will everyday tasks, such as, cleaning our floors, washing our
clothes cleaning our pools, and even cleaning hard to get place like our gutters. Robots are not only
pieces of advanced technology that can move, in fact some don’t need to be able to move. An example
is the “self-checkout” machine you see now at many large retail businesses, such as, BJ’s Whole Sale
Club. These types of robots help companies to save money in the long run by not having to hire as much
help, and on top of that it always accurately processes a purchase.
PROS AND CONS OF OWNING A ROBOT!

                            Pros Cons
• Help will daily tasks • They could take away many jobs from people that need the

• Will always be accurate when dealing with specifics
                                                                  • If they break it could cost thousands to fix them, as well as
• They can come in a variety of sizes take a long time to be fixed
• Can easily be updated with new technology whenever • They could be a hassle for people whom are technologically
    needed illiterate
• If using them for a business they can never “call out sick” • It may be difficult, at least at first, to communicate with a
nor never need to be paid! robot and tell it exactly what it is you want done
UNDERSTANDING
ROBOTS

Sometimes it’s hard to get a good grip on
what a robot for your home may look
like, as well as what it actually will do for
you. I have provided a video of a iRobot
Roomba 700 series which is meant to
clean the floors in your home. Take a look
at what it does.
TYPES OF ROBOTS

 IROBOT ROOMBA 770

“The Roomba 770 removes dirt, dust and
pet hair on its own. It features Dirt Detect
Series 2 technology to concentrate
cleaning in the dirtiest areas and a Full Bin
Indicator that lets you know when the bin
needs to be emptied. Using iAdapt
Responsive Cleaning Technology, Roomba
thoroughly vacuums the entire floor,
including hard-to-reach sports under
furniture. Dual HEPA air filters stop fine
dust from circulating in your home.”
IROBOT SCOOBA 390

“Simplified design and longer battery
life, the new Scooba 390, premium floor
washing robot, builds on the best of the
Scooba product line. Using a four-stage
cleaning process, Scooba
preps, washes, scrubs and squeegees your
floor for you, removing up to 98% of
common household bascteria. No
sweeping required. And unlike a
mop, Scooba never uses dirty water to
wash you floors.”
IROBOT MINT 5200

“Uses disposable or reusable microfiber
cleaning cloths to dry sweep and mop
floors for you. Featuring a monger lasting
battery, cube-to-cube navigation and Pro-
Clean System, Mint+ 5200 cleans larger or
multiple rooms in a single cleaning cycle.
It covers up to 350 square feet mopping
and 1,00 square feet sweeping in a single
cycle. Turbo Charge Cradle charges the
robot in two hours.”
IROBOT VERRO 500

“Cleans in-ground pool, floor to waterline
in 3 hours, PVA Brushes “power scrub”
pool surfaces, cleans and circulates 70+
gallons of water per minute, removes
large and small debris down to 2
microns, and it reduces run time of your
pool’s filtration system.”
IROBOT LOOJ 330

“Enhanced cleaning performance.
Smarter operational features. The New
iRobot Looj 330 Gutter Cleaning Robot
blasts away leaves, dirt and clogs while
brushing gutters clean. Featuring a high-
velocity, four-stage auger and the new
CLEAN mode, Looj travels down your
gutter on its own, sensing and adapting to
debris in order to provide the most
effective cleaning.”
