allows parents who are abusers to remain distant from and minimize sympathy toward their victims.
Additionally, there is a higher rate of dissociation disorders among intimate partner violence
survivors and perpetrators. The objective of the study performed by Webermann, Brand, and
Chasson in 2004 was to see how prevalent intimate partner violence is among those who commit
childhood maltreatment. To gather this data, dissociative disorder clinicians reported on the rates of

This Band Partnership Agreement (the "Agreement") is made by and between Anna Harris, Barnaby
Love, Charlie Hiddins, Eugene Klein, and Franklin Elvy (collectively referred to as herein as the

1. Structure and Purpose
1.1 The Band Partners establish themselves as a general partnership (the "Band Partnership") under
the laws of New South Wales for the purposes of entertainment, amusement, music, recording and
publishing.
1.2 The Band Partnership shall commence on the Effective Date and shall continue until it is ended

Paul Farmer came from a family who had little to offer him beside their outpouring love and sense
of adventure. He had many places to call home, and would never really get comfortable in one spot
because often his family would pick up and move. Farmer was inspired by great leadership, his
father, growing up and would in turn become a great leader on his quest to rid the world of poverty
and illness. Mountains Beyond Mountains written by Tracy Kidder, depicts Farmer's mission to
provide health care internationally and talks about all the difficulties that Farmer and his team had to
overcome.
Farmer started his work in Haiti in 1983 while it was under the dictatorship of Baby Doc. Farmer
was unable to get a position at the Hospital but he found an alternative way to get into Haiti,
Eyecare. Farmer met a woman whose name was Ophelia Dahl. At that point in his life he thought he
was going to marry her. Although they never got married, Ophelia and Farmer would always be in
each other's lives since Ophelia becomes the President of Partners In Health. Ophelia is not a doctor
nor does she have any medical skills, she is a huge health care advocate. In 1984, Farmer started
medical school at Harvard but still spent much of his time in Haiti. Not long before he started

Prior to actually taking Brazilian dance class, I just assumed it was another one of those slow
moving ballad dances but for a different culture. This is due to barely being deduced to how the
brazilian culture in like in reality, as the only two types of dance I was shown were Jazz dance,
which I really enjoy, and New Orleans dance, which I'm actually not very fond of (85% percent of it
involves bounce, which I am not a fan of at all). But after a few classes went by, I was proven

however such activity must not interfere either directly or indirectly with their commitments and

2. Band Name
2.1 The Band Partnership shall do business under the name Carbolic Smoke Ballers (the "Band
Name") as an assumed name and as its brand and trademark.
2.2 Each Band Partner acknowledges that the Band Name is the exclusive property of the
Partnership, is not owned by any individual Band Member, and cannot be unilaterally used as a
brand or trademark in connection with activities separate from the joint or collaborative activities of
the Band.
2.3 Departing Band Partners shall have no interest whatsoever in the Band Name apart from a
limited right to be known as an ex–member of the band, unless written authorisation is provided by
the Band Partnership.
2.4 In the event that the Partnership dissolves, no individual member shall have a right to use the
Band Name apart from a limited right to be known as an ex–member of the Band.
3. Song Ownership
3.1 Unless otherwise specified in the Schedule of this Agreement or otherwise agreed in writing by
the Band Partnership, Band Partners on creation own a separate and equal share of the copyright in
musical works and any of the lyrics of any song that is composed together (a "Co–Written Song")

Life is having to make choices when you have nothing to choose from. "They Shoot Horses Don't
They" is set in the time of the depression and represents the reality of the struggle to survive in that
time period. Manipulative Rocky's dance competition was a contest where couples danced on and on
until there was no more standing, and at the end they were supposed to receive prize money of 1,500
dollars. The show was set up with the audience as the consumer of entertainment and gambling
opportunity, while the dancers had one last shot to make the money they need to survive. Therefore,
the contestants must win the competition or have jeopardy due to the cost of losing everything they
have being too high. They shoot horses to put them out of their misery and that's the socio–
psychological foreshadow starting off this film. Throughout the film, Gloria mentions wanting to
kill herself over and over again to Robert, and at the end of the play persuades him to shoot her in
the head as a deed of kindness. This power is also expressed when the referee of the game tries to
force Gloria and Robert to get married. He does this by attempting to convince them that it is what
would be best for them, and that it would help the couple in the long run in the competition.
Furthermore, comes structural power, which is the outline power of this whole film, due to the
bribery of money used during our countries Great Depression. This is demonstrated by the referees

Cultures use a variety non–verbal communication, some put more emphasis on specific channels,
including facial expressions, body language, vocal tone, and eye contact. However, there is one
medium that is repeatedly shown high significance, dance. Although they way people move their
bodies to rhythm vary, the feelings that seem to be communicated are similar if not the same. Some
popular messages include love, intimacy, sexual attraction, companionship, and even sympathy.
Some of the simplest ways to observe subliminal messages is by identifying interactions between
dancing partners, clothing choices, and dancing style. "Dance is the hidden language of the soul." –

What is the significance of the interaction between dance partners? In it's most simplest form, dance
is purely an announcement that meet other people. Described in Interplay, this is called initiating
"the opening stage of all relations, not just romantic ones. Friendships start here, and so do business
partnerships." (Adler, Ronald B) In other words, when you ask someone to dance, it opens the
possibility of a new friendship and possibly a connection to other people and more relationships. A
study of adolescents in schools put it another way. "Shared social or physical activities can
systematically affect the emergence of ties between individuals in a social network." (Zander,
Lysann) It also suggests that meeting people through dance reaches on a deeper level.

Cultural Aspects Of Sexy Salsa Dance
As different groups of people move from one geographic location to another, they bring various
aspects of their heritage with them, including the dance forms characteristic of their culture. While
in a new location, these cultural aspects can serve to unify people of a common ethnicity, giving
them a physical expression of their collective identity. On the other hand, when a minority group of
people practices its dance forms in a new geographic location, dominant groups of people often
adopt them. Failing to understand the social significance and original meanings of such dances, the
majority group appropriates several aspects of the dance forms while changing other aspects in order
to make them fit better within its cultural ideologies. In this way, cultural appropriation of dance
forms dissolves some of their original cultural meanings, as is exemplified by the transmission of
salsa dance from a Latin American social dance to a Western ballroom dance, changing its nature
from an expression of cultural unity to an "exotic" experience. Performed primarily in social dance
clubs, salsa is a fluid and dynamic dance. The movement of the dancers originates from their hips,
which move constantly throughout the dance (Sexy Salsa Dancing). This in turn leads to the dancers
having a "dynamic and flexible spine, weight shifts propelled by core body movement often
resulting in weight suspended between the feet, [and] flexed knees and a lower center of gravity"

Personal Integrity In The Blue Hotel And Tennessee's Partner
There are many themes evident in both Stephen Crane's The Blue Hotel and Bret Harte's Tennessee's
Partner; some of these themes are easily recognizable while recognition of the others depends on the
perception of the reader. The two stories share the theme of personal integrity and that all actions
have consequences; however, there are several themes that are unique to each story that the reader
can latch on to. The plot and storyline of Tennessee's Partner are straightforward, but after reading
Crane's The Blue Hotel, one can imagine many different plots that could have taken place
throughout the story. Through imagery, the reader can take what each author presents and let his or
her imagination run wild; there is not a set feeling or reaction that either author intends for the
reader to have after reading.
Personal integrity can be seen in both stories between the characters Tennessee's Partner and The
Easterner. Tennessee's partner is integral because he never left his friend behind, even after he had
done him wrong. He was always there for Tennessee and never betrayed him. The Easterner shows
his integrity when he tells the truth about Johnnie and feels guilty about the situation with the
Swede; most people would have shrugged it off so that they did not have to deal with it but he chose
to speak up. Both of these forms of integrity show the true moral values of each character, each
example gives us a better idea of what it's like to be integrin.
