Gruppo Mattei USA Inc is the distributive subsidiary of Giemme
Brandscorporate SpA. The USA company, established in July 2014
and located in 501 Madison Avenue, aims to penetrate and develop
the American Market, which is considered one of the most impor-
tant market of the world.
The penthause is on the 24th floor and is a minimal space characte-
rized by the white walls contrasting with the lead-grey furnitures,
that allow the further enhancement of our collections; our product
is the real main character. The showroom currently hosts five of
Giemme Brandscorporate SpA produced brands: Caliban, Tintoria
Mattei, Le Sarte Pettegole, Guglielminotti and Cattina.

In the ‘50s, in Bassano Bresciano a small town in northen Italy, Angelo
and Teresa Cattina founded a small tailoring workshop for the production
of high quality shirts. Thanks to their passion and zeal, the Company be-
comes today on of the leading international shirts producer. In 1978, born
in Pontevico Camiceria Giemme srl.
In the early 80s the eldest son ,Giovanni, joined the company, who leads
the Group to success with enthusiasm and managerial innovation, brin-
ging the
production to 5.000 pieces per day. Camiceria Giemme Srl grows up over
the years, expanding and renewing itself. In 2010, all the Brands of the
Group are included in the Giemme BrandsCorporate Spa.
Today, the Group has a well-balanced portfolio of own brands and under
license brands, covering the different market segments. All Brands have
a common denominator that characterize all the collections: a beautiful
product, long-lasting, comfortable to those who wears it and an expres-
sion of a well made garment.

in an ironic way, blending manual steps and pa-
tchwork to a passionate research clearly expressed in
the materials and fitting. The brand arrives by magic,
a brilliant and a little crazy intuition at the same time,
an idea that comes from a phrase of the designer
while she’s testing samples in the room, “but if these
gossip seamstresses rather than talk all day long they
