This document contains evaluation criteria and requirements for a high school challenge involving a spoken word performance on a wildlife policy. The evaluation criteria include: performance (control over voice, originality, movement enhancing words), overall impact (captivating audience, meaningful message, passionate interpretation), relevance to theme/accuracy of information (facts about policy, quality of research, arguments for and against policy presented), and creativity (special flair, unique conveyance of information, originality). Requirements include having 10 or fewer performers, a performance under 2 minutes, specifying a wildlife policy, submitting original lyrics in advance, and lyrics reflecting arguments for and against the selected policy. Judges will score each category out of 20 points and requirements out of 20 points for a total
