7. MATHURA REFINERY (GREEN REFINERY CLEAN REFINERY ) Mathura refinery was commissioned in 1982 as the sixth refinery in the fold of Indian Oil and with an original capacity of 6.0 MMTPA. Located strategically between the historic cities of Delhi and Agra, the Refinery at Mathura is situated in the mythical and mystical land of Lord Krishna. Later the capacity of Mathura refinery was increased to 7.5 MMTPA by systematically debottlenecking and revamping.. of 0.25% wt (max).

12. Introduction : ( Effluent treatment plant) Effluent is an out flowing of water from a natural body of water, or from a man-made structure. Effluent in the man-made sense is generally considered to be pollution , such as the outflow from a sewage treatment facility or the wastewater discharge from industrial facilities. An effluent sump pump , for instance, pumps waste from toilets installed below a main sewage line. In the context of waste water treatment plants , effluent that has been treated is sometimes called secondary effluent , or treated effluent .
