Contact Mary Lou Kweselait Energy Consultant 908-684-0838 off/fax 908-763-0422 direct marlu@nac.net www.B2BSaveEnergyNow.EmexPower.com EMEX is the first and only real-time, online system that gives businesses the power to compare and switch electricity suppliers – saving up to 30% on commercial electricity. There’s no cost to find your lowest rate Our Services Instant Online Pricing Features All businesses have the ability to instantly view and execute offers for commercial electricity services in real time. By entering their zip code, or by registering through the website, customers have access to real time offers available through our approved National Retail Electricity Suppliers. Custom Quoting Larger users have the ability to receive customized electricity rate offers for their business from our network of competing suppliers. These suppliers will obtain your company’s historical electricity usage information, at no cost or obligation to you, and custom tailor a price and product to maximize your company’s savings. Custom Analysis EMEX’s in-depth analysis gives customers full transparency of all their offers, enabling them to make an educated decision on their electricity account and determine which supplier will offer them the most savings and financial security. By translating all offers – including those of competing incumbent suppliers – into a format which provides apples-to-apples comparisons, all options are shown on a level playing field. Customer Support EMEX provides continual support to its customers before, during, and after the enrollment process. EMEX is committed to each of its clients throughout the duration of their contract and provides an expert level knowledge that ensures customer satisfaction and loyalty.
How do I lock in an electricity rate? Will I have to pay a deposit?   There is a “Lock In” button beneath each price you see on our rate board. When you click on the Lock In button, you will be taken to our registration page. Once you fill in your company’s information, an executable contract will be emailed to you for your review. After reviewing the contract and signing the required areas, simply return your contract to EMEX and we will submit it to the supplier.    Once the supplier receives your contract, they will perform a credit check and determine if a deposit or additional information is required. Often times, if you do not pass credit, some suppliers will accept you if you are able to provide 3 consecutive, clean bill copies with no late payments or forward balances.     What is included in my energy rate? Are there any hidden fees?   Unless we have provided you with a customized product type, the rates you see on our rate board are fixed, all-inclusive. The rate covers all of your supply costs including: generation, network transmission costs, ISO costs and administration, line losses, ancillaries, capacity, etc. The only charges you will see in addition to our rate will be any applicable state and local taxes (included taxes will be listed on analysis, if applicable) and your electric delivery charges from your local utility provider.    Index rates will generally include a fixed “adder” that is placed on top of the market based index rates. The fixed adder will include all additional supply components unless otherwise noted.   What are SUT taxes and Gross Receipts Taxes?   These are taxes that are specific to your electricity costs. It is important to know if these rates are included in your current pricing format. Your local utility provider will always include these taxes in your rates, but suppliers may not. If your state is subject to a SUT or GRT tax, it will be indicated and accounted for in our analysis. EMEX can save you money and increase your bottom line! Who may use the EMEX?   The EMEX is currently designed for commercial and industrial customers in various deregulated markets. Currently, we are active in Texas, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and parts of Pennsylvania and Illinois.   Why should I register when I can quickly see rates just by entering my zip code?  Rates that appear on our rate board are designed for customers spending less than $5,000 per month on electricity. By registering, you can see additional offers as well as receive customized quotes if you spend more than $5,000 per month.   Am I making any commitments by registering?  No. You are never committed to use our services. You will not be placed on any call lists, or email distribution lists at any time. If you do not wish to use our services, simply inform us and we will remove your account from our system.    What happens after I register?  When you register your account, EMEX staff will review and analyze your information and make internal pricing recommendations where needed. We may request additional information if needed. After confirming your registration, we will review your offers and obtain custom quotes if your account qualifies. How long does it take to receive custom quotes after I register?   Depending on your utility provider, we can receive custom quotes within 1 to 8 business days. Our suppliers will request your historical usage information from your utility provider (at no cost or obligation to you) and formulate tailored quotes specific to your account profile. How do I look at rate offers?   When pricing is ready, EMEX staff will direct you to log in to your account where you can review your offers, compare suppliers and view your savings with our online savings tools. How do I compare my offers? Will this save money?   By clicking the “View Savings” link below the prices on the rate board, you can instantly compare the rate we have quoted you to your utility’s current prices. All prices are displayed in an apples-to-apples format so there is no confusion or misrepresentation. This tool provides you with full transparency to view and analyze your savings opportunities!    For clients on variable rates or with another provider on a fixed-price contract, you can also use our Monthly Invoice analysis to compare your projected supply costs directly from our suppliers to your current supplier.
