3. Good News About Millennials

in the Bible and what the Bible teaches on topics like life,
death, marriage, money, finances and even digital life.”
Dave Kinnaman, president of Barna Group: 2015
• 48% of Millennials
chose small-group Bible study

2015 Barna survey of pastors revealed:
•Only 1% said “today’s churches are doing very well
at discipling new and young believers”
•60% felt churches are discipling “not too well”
•8% believed their own church was discipling “very well”
(2013 Research from: Barna Research Group, Southern Baptist Life Commission, Josh McDowell and Campus Crusade for Christ, Focus on the Family, Church of
the Nazarene Research, Evangelical Covenant Church study, The Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion—last three listed statistics)
5. Vision
“One of the most positive trends among Millennials
is that they want faith that is holistically integrated
into all areas of life—including their technology.
How the Church acknowledges and engages the digital domain –
and teaches faithfulness in real-life to young adults as well –
will determine much about its long-term effectiveness among Millennials.”

Kinnamen, President Barna Group, Update, October 15,
2013

These are the three key questions (read them). Note that many of the 20 million unchurched adults are mature, older Christians who have become bored in church (been there and done that). Mentoring makes older adults become alive. Most exciting job they can do!

Sync with God Discipleship Model
The basic structure of the Sync with God with God APP is based on the teachings found in II Timothy 2:2 and II Peter 3:18.
It revolves around the virtual small group that is made up of same gender group members and an approved small group leader, They meet together on an agreed to schedule, to discuss Bible-based lessons that are positioned on a website they can all access. Notes of the completed lessons and any questions are available to all group members and the leader.
From time to time, members may elect to form a personal private relationship with another individual from the group and they establish a mentor/mentee relationship. Either member of this relationship may dissolve the relationship at any time.
