6. K–SWISS
At K–Swiss Europe I worked as a European Category Manager Lifestyle in which I created concepts and work-
ing with designers to go from concept to actual products. A longside this job I also made the Global color and
material presentations .
After working for 2 years at K–Swiss I came to the conclusion that i was missing my own creativity and the
directly working with factories and the products. therefore had to stop my career at K-Swiss,

11. cOLLABORAtIONS
Working with young fashiondesigner Julia Hederus, who just finished St Martins at that time, was a great joy. I worked
together to go from sketches to final product. We also worked tightly with the marketing to get the right PR and
marketing. I even went out and sold it 2 stores in the Netherlands myself because I really believe in the concept
we worked on at that time. The shoes where sold in important stores across the world like for example Opening
Ceremony, SPRMRKT, Liberty, Nitty Gritty.

15. INVItO
Invito is a young shoe fashion retailchain with 43 outlets all across the Netherlands. The stores attract a young
fashion conscious consumer that is looking for fresh new seasonal products. As a productmanager I learned
about designing and production of shoes. Physically setting up production units with Chinese factories, agree-
ing designs with them and making sure the designs were followed to the letter and the articles were delivered
on time. The production took place in Portugal, Italy, Hong Kong and China. Each season you had to create
and design your own Invito line combined with 30% brands.

factory you worked with the factory people to
make the best possible products for the price tar-
geted before hand. It was a very interesting time
to work so close with the factories It was a good
learning experience for me that I still use a lot
today. as you worked from A to Z at Invito.
22. MeN At WORK
After working a view years prior at Invito designing bags I was asked to design and start
up a fashion commercial bag line for Dutch fashion retailer Men At Work.
Everything had to be started up from scratch, from factories to materials to shipping. I
worked 2 seasons setting up the range and then transferred the collection to somebody
at Men At Work who toke control over the line. It was a great learning process to work
on a line from initial concept to delivery.
