MISI HMJS Meningkatkan kompetensi kader pengurus HMJS melalui penanaman budaya positif organisasi Memfasilitasi pengembangan keilmuan dan memberikan pengenalan keprofesian bidang teknik sipil Mempererat ikatan kekeluargaan HMJS melalui komunikasi informal dan suasana kampus yang nyaman membuat dan melaksanakan program kerja yang inovatif dan berdaya jual tinggi Meningkatkan BSA (brain, skill, atitude) dan sense of belongingness terhadap HMJS dan almamater Mempererat hubungan, komunikasi dan koordinasi dengan universitas, PM unpar dan pihak lain yang terkait Meningkatkan kepekaan sosial dan kepedulian terhadap masyarakat umum Meningkatkan eksistensi HMJS baik internal maupun eksternal

Strategi Menerapkan dan mengembangkan AD/ART dalam kepengurusan Mengembangkan sistem pelaksanaan keorganisasian yang efektif, efisien, dan terdokumentasi secara berkesinambungan Perumusan kaderisasi yang terpadu dan semakin relevan dengan perubahan kondisi di tiap angkatan akademisnya serta lingkungan yang terkait Evaluasi berkesinambungan terhadap aspirasi mahasiswa dan universitas Membuat program kerja inovatif dan berdaya jual tinggi baik internal maupun eksternal Memperkuat link dengan forum alumni, link kerja, dan instansi luar
