Challenges and hurdles to implement eHealth in developing countries

We don't have any doubt today about the importance of eHealth for health. eHealth improves the quality and generates cheaper costs for Health care. However, for various reasons, there are difficulties to implement them especially in developing countries. This research is about studying those difficulties in order to find a way to try to solve them. The WHO identified the use of eHealth as a priórity. Poor strategic planning and lack of implementation of international standards consume government budgets without reaching a good result. We need skills, development of human resources in knowledge in medical informatics, standard terminology and messaging standards.
